The series from which these drawings are taken, Ninety Minutes after a South Sussex City Council Meeting, April 2009, depicts the citizenry of a fictional New England city shortly after a weeknight meeting of their local government. This project addresses the joys and sorrows of its characters in post-industrial New England during the Great Recession. All drawings are ink on paper, 8 ½” x 5 ½”. There are 40 drawings in this series.
