This project was created in 2007 as a response to the ongoing tragedies of the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The images were produced by digitally photographing the remaining imprints after temporarily removing the ubiquitous magnetic ribbons from red, white, and blue automobiles parked at big box convenience stores where I live.
